This is an excellent hotel. Rooms are unusually spacious, similar to the size of North American size rooms. The bed is comfortable and actually a real king size. Shower is excellent! Air conditioning worked very well. Excellent coffee in the breakfast room. The in room coffee pretty good if you don’t mind pods.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel America for two weeks, and the experience was exceptional every day. The service was truly outstanding with the front desk staff offering fantastic recommendations and always greeting us with a warm smile - a true reflection of Catalan hospitality. The hotel’s terrace provides lovely views of the city which I love for watching sunset shades. One of the highlights is the hotel's prime location on Enric Granados Street which is often considered the culinary heart of Barcelona. Whether you are in the mood for traditional tapas, Michelin-recommended restaurants, or global cuisine, this street has it all. From vibrant vermouth bars to world’s best bars (in the close proximity), you wont feel short of options! From the best local coffee roasters to world renowned coffee shops, everything is just a short 10-minute walk away. We cannot wait to return to Hotel America on our next visit to Barcelona!

Exceptional service from the staff. Great location, a must stay when in Barcelona. My suggestion is that they should provide complimentary tea and coffee and water in the room, considering the fee paid per night it is a small expense for the hotel to fall in line with all the properties of this calibre.
