Lovely weekend break

Nice stay over the bank holiday weekend. There was an issue with key cards but the reception were very helpful coming up to the room every single time we wanted to access the room for the first day. Pool facilities were great and very clean. Would recommend and would stay again.

Stunning rooms, fantastic complimentary gifts for my partners birthday! Great views with a beautiful property not far from the town! Breakfast was a brilliant range of foods and drinks on offer and staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout the hotel! The spa area was a nice little bonus within the hotel! The room was fine, however the rooms have no air conditioning. The hotel did not provide a fan for the room and the fridge in the room was missing (clearly broken). We really struggled with the conditions to sleep at night time, which affected our family holiday.

Great location for racecourse

Lovely hotel in a great location for York racecourse and a short taxi ride into the city centre (or 30 min walk). Rooms are very well appointed although the bathroom could be upgraded with dual flush toilet etc. Bed was very comfortable and noise was at a minimum. Staff are helpful and friendly. We like that the pool was open till 11pm
