Exceptional in Every Detail
This was a very special chance for my daughter and I to visit Kruger Park. So I opted for a special place to stay - Kruger Shalati. We stayed in a train car on the bridge. It was elegant, quiet, and spacious with a spectacular view. Below us in the river was abundant wildlife including hippos. We enjoyed an all inclusive plan with superb dining, gracious service, and two daily safaris with exceptional guides (shout out to Lisa!) I stay in hotels 100+ nights a year and this ranks as one of the finest resorts I’ve ever experienced.

Beautiful resort in the vast wilderness
The staff are all so friendly and hospitable. Be ready to eat like you never have before on the fully inclusive package. Stayed in Garden room number 5 and it was very nice and spacious. Elephants, monkeys, crocodiles and hippos are all at the doorstep of the resort visiting daily which is amazing. Twice daily game drives take place at 5am and 4:30pm and we're so much fun.

We decided to go to ToB based on the "Reluctant Traveller" show, and we expected it to be fun and worth staying there. Once you have done a safari here, you will not want to go anywhere else. When your room is on a train bridge and you can see wildlife from your room, have amazing twice a day game drives and excellent food and service, Shalati is a little piece of heaven.
