I was traveling with my spouse and two dogs. It was great to be able to go eat at the good restaurant while leaving my dogs in the room. The room was a generous size, had a fridge and was very comfortable. I e machine right at end of the hallway. People were friendly and most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Dow town Carlisle is quite charming and felt safe at night while dog walking. Cute shops and a good coffee shop across the street if you need a cappuccino or something specialty. Very convenient to I-81.

We enjoyed this hotel. It is located ideally in downtown Carlisle and it has a great restaurant. We ate there twice. The room was clean and well ventilated. It had a seating area that we used frequently and found it to be a nice addition. The room was also spacious. The beds were clean and comfortable but there he pillows! The pillows are the only thing we did not like. They were small and plump and we found them uncomfortable. Otherwise I would not choose another hotel in Carlisle!

We stay at this hotel at least twice a year. The location is perfect to meet with our Dickinson college classmates for events. We enjoy the bar and the restaurant (The Whiskey Rebellion). The front desk attendant is very accommodating and friendly (her name starts with a D, but I can't remember her full name). We'll be back!

One night stay on Jan 1st. Disappointed the restaurant was not open. It was one reason we selected this place. We are not big celebrators or we would have remembered to check. Otherwise delighted. Even our dog found it comfortable.
