We were here for a few days in June of 2022.
Pros: First, the location: you can walk right out onto the sand, or to the arcade, the mall, or any one of two-dozen eateries. Also, if you want to pay just a tad more for the view, do it ... this hotel has a completely unobstructed 180-degreee view of the ocean/sunset. On-site parking is plentiful - never saw the parking structure full, and it was a packed weekend of soccer players and beauty queen parades. There is an indoor pool/hot tub, which is a must for most of the year on the Oregon coast. Lastly, the employees were super professional and courteous.
Cons: In our room, the furnishings and fixtures were barely above the "find on the side of the highway" level. Couch cushions had rips, toilet chipped, shower head sprayed in every direction, no premium channels (our friends had Netflix in their room), and neither mattress (bed or pull-out) was comfortable enough to stay our third night. Everything in our room was ridden hard. The elevator is slow (not sure where it sits in neutral, but its definitely not the lobby). There are no hotel food options (unless you count the vending machine), and no room cleaning during your stay (we were told it was because of COVID).
Nevertheless, we would consider staying here again but would see what we could do about getting one of the "updated" rooms (some of our friends had much nicer furnishings and a predictable shower trajectory).
