Nice stay.
Clean and very comfortable. Convenient location. Only issue I had was there was black hair tangled in the black makeup wash cloth....not mine, was kind of gross, but normally I would not have used that wash cloth anyway....not sure why I tried to this time. But, I would definitely go back.

Hotel is new with very friendly staff. Rooms, at least the one two queen bed are on the small size. No closets, no iron, and the bathroom is small. Breakfast is good although it could offer more protein options.

Falling apart
Toilet failed after checkin and was never fixed. “Blackout curtains” were not blackout curtains. Room was never very dark at all (see photo). Listing showed tub and shower, room only had a tiny shower. Electronic lock was los on battery so it “beeped” all night. Staff was gruff and rude. overall, the hotel seemed like it was poorly maintained. Too many things were either broken or didn’t work or were failing. The hotel does not look old, but with so many things falling apart, it feels like it.

Excellent place to stay on a budget
We were in Tallahassee for grandsons graduation from Florida public safety institute, and tried this reasonably priced hotel with good reviews. I had read about some noise, so requested a quiet room. They booked me at the end of the hall. I brought my own white noise and slept very well. Staff was extremely friendly. Room service daily. The place is very cute, rooms are small but adequate. Bed is very comfortable. No drawers, but space under seating area. The breakfast had waffles, bagels, cereal, boiled eggs, fruit, juice and yogurt. Good and filling. The only complaint I have is they need to increase water heater degrees, or get a larger water heater, as showers were lukewarm at best. Will definitely use again when visiting Tallahassee.

Priced right for me!
I had an amazing stay at this location. I had every intention of recording and capturing my visit but it was so quiet and cozy, that we just slept and relaxed our entire visit. Besides the Encore brands, I haven't been this excited to return to a hotel in a while. Summer checked us in and was completely pleasant and a ray of sunshine. I will definitely be back...and SOON!
