There is no air-conditioning. We were sitting in our room sweating. We were given a different room. Staff confirmed the entire hotel doesn't have air conditioning. Next the wifi was terrible. Overall the location is great. The junior suite at which we saw pictures was on a single level and quite large. Quite different from the two-story one that we got stuck with. Very steep narrow staircase from The Loft to the living room bathroom area. Had I known they would switch us to a two-story I would never have booked here. Trying to maneuver those steps in the middle of the night is crazy. Also the bathroom lights Unable to be turned off without turning off the master switch to the entire suite. Was told on the phone if I didn't know how to turn the light switch off then I should just turn the main off. I'm a mature professional person and didn't appreciate the condensating manner in which the night person spoke to me otherwhe night se the staff is great. Also no air conditioning. Would not stay here again.

Check-in staff were excellent, and got us into our room ahead of standard check-in time. Room was very large, with a separate shower room and toilet/sink. Decor and carpets a little dated, but overall a very nice room with a balcony overlooking the town hall square. The inclusion of breakfast was a welcome addition - excellent breakfast. A very pleasant stay, and would stay here again.
