It's all about the location. 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. If you want luxury, it's not for you. Very helpful and friendly staff. It's a old hotel but we managed with our two teenagers in a 3 bed room and it was 37°C outside with an air conditioner that worked somewhat. Breakfast was boiled eggs that appeared to be free range by the colour of the yoke, cheese, sliced meats, fruit, yogurt, various buns, croissants, jams, juice and coffee, expresso and lattes. I thought about changing hotels but since we were only in Rome for 6 nights I figured A different experience for my boys would be good. After all, doing laundry in the shower builds character! It's an old part of Rome and why expect more!
