Lovely hotel which is very central - can walk pretty much everywhere and lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby! The rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, our air con was a bit broken and very noisy in the night but we still enjoyed our stay here!

The staff were very pleasant and patient when I raised an issue about a safe that did not work. I got a much better room with a safe that did work and I was very happy throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent and the cleaning staff were very good, as were the front desk. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Vienna. Ideally situated for access to transport, restaurants and local sites of interest.

A lot of good things at Hotel City Central
I had a really good stay at the Hotel City Central. The location was just across the canal from the City Center, near the public transportation, my Hop ON Hop Off stop, & next the super market. The staff was excellent. Mr. Thomas who worked the front desk in the late afternoon/evening was great and very helpful. Mr. Rhinegald who worked in the morning was also very good & helpful. The breakfasts were also excellent. The only complaint I have is that you could hear the people talking in the neighboring rooms talking. I'm light sleeper and that was a bit of a problem. But overall, I really liked the hotel a great deal.

The hotel is very close to the subway station and trams for convenience. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, ready to answer any question or provide any tips. Upon check-in I was offered a city map with local tourist points of interest (very helpful!). The overall building and rooms were very clean and bright. A very convenient hotel near to the center of the city and easy to use the transportation. The breakfasts is ok with limited variety but tasty and fresh products. The only bad thing is that they removed the mini bar from room (they told me to save the environment!!!!!) and i could not have something cold to drink. Also no coffee making facilities and it would be nice to have a bottle of water in room, these are basics as a 4 star hotel! Nevertheless i suggest it for a good option in Vienna
