Everything was great except the carpet was stained in multiple spots. But I can imagine that so many people spill wine, food, and other things that it would be cost prohibitive to constantly replace the carpet. But the room also needed a paint job. Lamp shade needs replacing. But the stellar staff made up for everything.

The Hotel appears very tired. My room # 1800 had no AC , the mini fridge was not working and not stocked . They then brought in a small portable AC that took a long time to cool the room down. I had abreakfast meeting on the roof top and the offer of food was third rate. Coffee only in styrofoam cups , cheap generic orange juice . It all felt like something for a hollyday inn on some highway and not on par with a 5 star hotel. The staff however was first class.

The lobby bar was closed in the afternoons and the rooftop bar closed one night for a private event and the only option was a small bar on the second floor which was very crowded. I’m unsure why but this made it inconvenient for meeting with colleagues. We have stayed at Park Lane several times and although a little outdated it’s a great place to stay and I will definitely stay here again.

I love the hotel and the views! So great. Great staff. I super love the lighting, and the fact that they have not caved to the awful pre- programmed LED nightmare systems, that are ugly, bad for you AND make it impossible to control individual lamps. That alone will get me back on my next trip! Beautiful room, and light switches you can use! And windows that open! So good. I do wish it had a working Mini Bar, but that's not a huge deal. It was a costly hotel and not worth it. Although the staff was great, the room was tattered and needed paint. No coffee maker in the room. If you wanted coffee or breakfast you had to order expensive room service or go to a snack bar downstairs. The other option was a 75.00 brunch on the rooftop!
