Not great
Horribly uncomfortable beds, dirty rooms and mini fridge. When booking, it said complimentary breakfast, but upon check-in it was stated there was no breakfast.

Firm Mattress
Everything about this hotel was great. Friendly and informative front desk, clean room and great water view. We will not be back unfortunately because the bed was extremely firm. We felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Tossed and turned all night . If that's what you like then I would stay here. The lady at the front desk told us they just replaced all the mattresses throughout the hotel. That's a no go for us .

The room smelled very clean and the lady who took care of us at the front desk was great..windows ,hall, corners of halls..were terribly dirty..our room had a balcony and the gutters had hanging moss and green stuff handing..will never stay at a Ramada again...but again the lady was great..needs someone to maintain the outside..

This particular Ramada Inn is desperately in need of renovation. For the price of the room, the carpet did not seem clean, the light bulbs in our bathroom were exposed, the balcony was carpeted and looked moldy, did not go out so can't be sure, the outside doors were open to anyone who wanted to go in, not locked & obviously felt a bit unsafe, until this place is either totally renovated or rebuilt I would not recommend it, the correct room price should have been $75 not $177.

We spent a week here and it was so peaceful and relaxing! Hearing the waves while laying in bed was serene. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Rooms were updated and the balcony was icing on the cake. Will definitely be back.

The staff person was really nice. The bathroom had broken fixtures, poor lighting, no place to hang a towel and there was no vent fan. The balcony had algae on the floor. The grounds needed to be trimmed. The interior needs updating. I paid less than $80 for the night so I guess I shouldn’t expect too much. But it was off season and every hotel around had vacancies.

Wedding Trip
My stay was wonderful. My sister and great nieces stayed on Mackinac Island and came over to visit. Room was clean and comfortable. Beach was wonderful. Great nieces really enjoyed the sand and the pool. Overall stay was excellent. I do have 2 recommendations: First, the outside trash can needs emptied more often. By my last day there, it was overfull and starting to escape. The 2nd is that the lounge chairs in the pool area need replaced. Many are broken and could pinch children's fingers. But overall, I couldn't have been more satisfied.

I like the view I did not like the tub that was cracked and I couldn’t take a shower. I asked to switch rooms and the lady did but unpleasant about it. I did not like there was no breakfast and in the pictures it showed breakfast smell in the hallways And elevator were like wet, damp smelling Needs a good cleaning and pest control to get rid of the fruit flies all over

Do Not Stay Here!
I never make a negative review, but, this hotel was horrible. Our room smelled terrible, it was very musty and the carpets were damp. The pictures online are completely outdated, the outside hot tub was empty, broken and moldy. The outside decks were filled with trash and mold. This hotel should be closed down. We were disappointed that you would advertise this hotel. Do not stay here.

We used to come to this property quite a few times. Last time was a few years ago. We decided to book again this year. Got the same room we had the last previous time which was cool (Room 317) When we booked, it said continental breakfast. There used to be a large dining room on the second floor, you could see it from the pool. Apparently they stopped the breakfast. The hot tub in the Crows Nest is still there but looks like it hasn't been used in years. The deck area where it's at is so full of Algae, mold and overgrowth is not only disgusting, its dangerous. The balcony of 317 overlooks this and also has Algae and overgrowth on it. At no time when we booked, were we told the hot tub was out of order (the 1st floor hot tub barely works) Our room while clean, the wallpaper was peeling from the walls and the room, the smell of disinfectant or whatever cleaner they use is over powering and only half the lights worked (the ceiling fan was a point of concern for me. It's a shame, this used to be such a wonderful hotel, but it doesnt look like anytime was spent on the upkeep. We invited friends with us and it was embarrassing because over and over I was saying "this used to be a really nice hotel" Thes staff was excellent from the front desk, to the cleaning crew to the maintenance man (yes he had to come to our room to take care of the TV) But, whomever the owner is, should be ashamed as to how far standards have fallen and the conditions of the hotel

At less than $125 a night, on Lake Huron, small balcony with like a rubber tile surface that was starting to grow moss but did offer a great view.
