In town for Volleyball tournament
I was skeptical because of some of the reviews but I must say, we enjoyed our stay. It’s local to a lot of things to do. Parking was sufficient. The staff was pleasant, the rooms were nice and cozy, bathroom was clean, shower had pressure and was nice and hot, we also really enjoyed the balcony. The breakfast was basic but enough to satisfy plus they have vending machines with lots of goodies. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say.

Simple and as expected.
Let’s be clear: this is a renovated hotel from another era. It’s not going to be some all amenity modern hotel. Two stories and no elevator, carry your own bags, simplicity. The beds were very good, the room was clean, the doors were secure, and the water pressure was good. The continental breakfast was the cereal, yogurt, and fruit of others. It felt like I was staying in an original Howard Johnson of the 1960s and I appreciated that.

Missed the expectation by a bit
So I spent multiple nights for vacation. I selected the location based on having a middle ground between a Motel 6 and a Best Western. I ended up with a motel 6 with a surcharge. Breakfast was included, I hope you like 1 of 2 cold cereals, a slow making pancake machine, over ripe bananas or Walmart yogurt. Beverages were reg/decaf coffee or apple/orange juice. I would have rather stayed at a Motel 6 and bought a good breakfast each day. Room was decent. Bed was fine. Whoever they hire for drywall and painting should change professions. There was a slight funky smell on the room. They say they will change towels/sheets every 3 days to conserve resources, which I'm great with, but they came every other day. I have to give it to the employees though. All were friendly, could communicate easily and were pleasant.
