Otel Evren. What an interesting and bizarre place.
When you come up to the building it is in very bad condition and in a weird neighborhood. Once inside you are greeted by extremely rude staff.
The hallways have random junk inside, and everything looks bad. The room I stayed in was okay but bare bones. There are a couple exposed wires from electrical outlets. The bed is rock hard. I don't know where they come from, since the window is closed, but there are mosquitoes. Sitting in my room in the first day, a random man opened the door and came in, only to turn around and walk away when he saw me. From then on I kept the door locked even when I was inside the room.
Craziest part of the stay, the workers never showed me where the toilets where. I had to wander the halls to find them. They aren't clearly marked. They are also filthy, and get this, there are no showers/baths. No showers. Seriously.
And again, very rude workers. I would say hi when entering or exiting and they would completely ignore me. After the first night the front desk guy aggressively told me to give him the key, and I had to try and tell him I have two nights booked. Very rude.
I guess at 10 USD for a private room I can't be too dissatisfied but this place is a joke. I am surprised Hotels.com even allows it to be on the system. Go stay somewhere else.
