So for our full weeks holiday we were woken up to Jack hammering and smashing if glass and tiles (except for Sunday), staring before 7am which wasn't great for our relaxing holiday. Staff didn't even let us know this was happening when we checked in. Good location and the room was also nice. Just a shame about the building works

The location is excellent! Room was good size, better than expected. Unfortunately, on day 2 (of total 5 nights), huge renovation started, making the stay rather uncomfortable. They should probably have closed down a few days instead or offered a huge discount. Thanks to incredibly welcoming and understanding staff, the overall experience is very good, as they arranged for a refund for almost half our stay! We could definitely stay here again when finished renovation.

Good modern room with double bed for single occupancy. Walking distance to universitat metro station and 10 minutes walk to palaca de catalunya square. Restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby. Hotel offers free pasteties, hot tea and coffee and juice in the morning and throughout the day. Very comfortable bed and modern room with clean bathroom. Advice to walk on the main road from the metro station to the horel at night and avoid the narrow street due to the possibility of petty thief and pickpockets. A good hotel to base yourself for a few nights whilst exploring Barcelona.
