With a concert in town, New Plymouth was boooked out - but I was glad to have a room at 299! Was given a warm welcome and slept well. The property is older but perfectly comfortable. Walkable into the centre of town and the coastal walkway. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location for my needs - great coffee shop just along the road. Room was tidy, clean and comfortable, if a little dated. Reception was very welcoming and helpful when I checked in. Great room for three of us. Plenty of space and facilities in kitchen e.g. two electric elements, microwave, toaster, electric jug, good sized fridge, pot, frypan, jug. Large bathroom with decent shower. Decor bit dated but well maintained and very clean. Small outdoor area for each unit as well as room to picnic near pool. 10 minute walk to CBD, very well priced and tasty Thai takeaways 5minute walk. Good cafe three doors away.
