Stayed here for three nights, and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base for visiting Assisi, Gubbio and Perugia, all of which are within an hours drive. Lovely restored building, with charm and character, friendly staff, an excellent choice at breakfast and overall, very good value for money. Didn't use the restaurant in the evening, so can't comment, although it seemed popular, even with the limited menu. The pool is not very big, but it was clean, and we saw it being maintained every morning. You'll need a car if staying here, as it's in the middle of the countryside, and the drive from the road is about a 3-4km long. The nearest village doesn't have any facilities worth noting either.

Castello In Umbria
This was a ver relaxing hotel, if you are looking for a romantic few days away be warned as we were there Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3 nights, there was a wedding held on each night (with between 100 - 150 guests). I think this hotel should decide whether it is a romantic escape hotel or a wedding venue.

Posto bellissimo e rilassante , personale gentile e disponibile . Ristorante buonissimo ed economico . Uniche due pecche: la camera per 4 non comodissima perché i due letti singoli un po’ scomodi . Inoltre siccome siamo venuti col cane,! in struttura risiedono dei gatti e un cane che gravitano tra ristorante e piscina creando problemi col nostro cane che spesso è stato attaccato. Sarebbe utile scrivere nel sito o nelle comunicazioni via mail che in struttura ci sono già animali residenti . L’ultimo giorno ho dovuto tenere il mio cane in camera .

I slept in the tower room, walls are so thin that you can hear the next room guest talking normally at the phone like if he’s sitting in your bed. Extra cost aren’t clear, pay attention to it. Staff: just a couple of professional memebers the others looks like they are surprised to be there
