Wonderful location
Fabulous place to stay. Rustic while clean and modern. Watched the sunrise over the badlands from the front porch. Where else can you do that?

We did arrive during the normal office hours for check-in but there was a note they had to leave early. They did leave our keys for us so we had no issues getting in our room. The room and bathroom were pretty small but well kept up. It's a nice area and very close to the Badlands which is the main reason we picked it. I can't comment on any staff since I didn't see any. We dropped our key in the drop box and headed out at dawn. I can't comment on the view either since the sun was down when we arrived and not up when we left.

2/10 Poor

The room had way too much air freshener in it. So much so I couldn't sleep in the room and didn't receive a refund.

I gave staff 5 sstars but I never met them. We arrive late so they were not there but left a nice note and key so I could enter my room. Room was clean and nice. Next morning i left before they opened. Just dropped the keys. No hassle.

We arrived late so were grateful to staff for leaving our key on the corkboard on the porch. We left the next morning without seeing anyone. We picked up supper in Kyle before we arrived, otherwise no options. No breakfast options either, except the National Park Lodge. Beautiful setting, we were glad for a place to stay!
