Lovely stay with very friendly and helpful owners and staff, who went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Our room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Very clean, good air conditioning and all the facilities required. Good location in the centre with good access to Uber. Excellent restaurants nearby. We highly recommend for a visit to Cape Town.

Spent 4 nights at Rouge and had a lovely stay. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. Michel was great with providing ideas of what to do and where to eat. Breakfasts were also fantastic including the serving staff. Watch out for Chris who served up some deadpan humour with your breakfast, too funny !

Michel made us feel so welcome to Cape Town and his passion for this area was infectious. We took him up on many of his suggestions. Lovely friendly staff and day and night security systems means you feel safe. So many great places to eat very close by and just at the edge of Bo Kaap but only a 25 minute walk to the V&A waterfront. We hope to return!

A great place to stay!

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. We arrived early in the morning, well before the stated check-in time. The gladly stored our luggage and delivered it to the room while we explored the city. They made good recommendations about where to eat and what to do. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. I would gladly stay there again.

After an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips. I will definitely book again if I heard down to Cape Town. Highly recommended.

Cozy place to stay, warmly greeted by the staff always. Staff genuinely cared for our wellbeing. When we returned from a road trip at night, they escorted us to park the car in their garage to keep it safe overnight. Breakfast was simple, unpretentious but delicious and made to order. I can't wait to get back to the Rouge!!!

We love this hotel, the staff and accommodations. They addressed our every need, (but we really didn't need anything because they provided wonderful amenities that we didn't even know we needed!!) The proprietors assisted us in navigating around the vicinity specifically and Capetown in general. We will return to Capetown if only to stay at the Rouge one more time. If you don't book here, you will have missed something very special.

Don't look any further for the perfect stay

My experience at Rouge on Rose lived up to the reviews I had read before I booked it. The staff was very helpful, Jean, Michel and Chris were all great! Breakfast was excellent. Tive um imprevisto no hotel em que eu estava anteriormente, e ao chegar no Rouge on Rose Boutique Hotel fui prontamente ajudado pelo Michelle, proprietário do Rouge. Todos do hotel, com destaque para Michelle, Jean, Chris e os dois atendentes do restaurante, me atenderam muito bem. O hotel é muito organizado, os quartos são enormes, o café da manhã é muito bom e a localização é excelente. Se eu voltar para a Cidade do Cabo, ficarei novamente neste hotel.
