I paid in advance through HOTELS.COM , when I checked in they demanded a $100 surprise deposit for "damage", very low class way to do business. Of course there was no damage and the deposit has not been put back on my card. Also the bathroom shower had a very amateur white caulk repair when it should have been done with clear caulk to match existing caulk. Stay away from this hotel.

Bad experience
My family and I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Meridian and were extremely disappointed by the lack of control over rowdy guests. A group of team members was incredibly disruptive throughout our stay. They were constantly running down the hallways, talking loudly at all hours, and knocking on random doors. It was impossible to get any rest due to the noise. To make matters worse, they overtook the pool area, making it uncomfortable for other guests to enjoy the space. Their shouting and rough behavior were left unchecked by staff. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip, but it was anything but. We expected better from a hotel that markets itself as a peaceful place to stay. If you’re looking for a quiet and restful experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Too many others on this stretch for me to go back
Window didn't close all the way and the room was the closest to the hiway of all rooms so road noise was excessive all night. Glass was cracked probably from someone trying really hard to get it to shut all the way. USB outlet didn't work so my phone was dead in the morning. And the TV kept coming on by itself with just a black screen intermittently all night until I unplugged it. All in, seems like the room could use some maintenance. Perhaps other rooms are better. And I couldn't see the sign from the road until I was past the driveway, the place is really poorly marked. I had to make the big double U-turn loop to come around again. Kind of a poor effort all around.
