Old property and small cabins but very quaint. The drive way coming into the property could use some work, big pot hole as you are pulling in and the numbers on the cabin are hard to read, thank goodness they have a map on-line of where each cabin is. I've stayed at this property twice now in 2 different cabins, loved my stay both times. Stayed during the week and hardly anyone was there, so very quiet. Grocery store right across the street and downtown close enough to walk to. The wildlife is amazing, deer and elk frequent the property often and will walk almost right up on the porch. The staff is always friendly and easy to reach.

Pleasant stay.
It was a pleasant stay, but we could not keep our snacks in the room. Within an hour of placing our snacks on the fridge near the microwave we noticed an invasion of ants. Other than that, it suited our needs for the weekend. The mattress was a little too stiff for people of our age.

The whole cabin was very dark. When you try to open curtains they fell down. The carpet at the entrance was frayed and bunched up making it difficult to open the door. The heater did not work. Internet did not work. It rained and water leaked in on the kitchen counter to the left of the stove. This cabin needs some love and fixing up!

Good location. Cleaning lady was very helpful with info. Quiet, because very few were there during our time. The cabin was a duplex, so we were happy we had no neighbors next door. ANTS! They were in our cooler and food bag we put on floor inside. And in bathroom. Shower was small. .

2/10 Poor

The room was very dirty. There was no light in the bathroom. When you switch the light on, it just flickered, and replacing the lightbulb did not help.

It was a nice place to stay in a beautiful town. My only complaints were that the shower head desperately needed to be descaled, and the cabin was smaller than I anticipated.

Home away from home!!
My husband and I have been coming to Ruidoso for several years. Staying in the cabins is a home away from home for us. We get a place to ourselves with all the amenities while enjoying the wildlife that travels through. I love the weather and how close it is to whatever we may need. We will always come and stay here.
