Great staff. Family and large group friendly
Very friendly staff. I was traveling with 5 kids. The room was perfect for us. Loved that the bedroom was a separate room from the living/dining area. Then some could stay awake while others went to bed. We were on lower level, so not balcony. Worked out perfect for me, since I had a stroller. But for those who want a view or more light, choose a upstairs room... The lower level has large shutters that cover the window from the outside for privacy.

NOISE
It was an enjoyable stay UNTIL a family with several young children move into the room above our room. You would have thought a tackle football game was going on with the beating and banging. It lasted about three hours or we left for dinner and did not return for several hours. The noises were not heard when we returned to our room.

Wonderful weekend trip.
We so enjoyed our stay. Room was cleaned, they were cleaned every day, staff was awesome. So helpful with recommending restaurant and getting our cab to airport. Would definately stay again. We've been to New Orleans many times and stayed in several places, and this was definately a great place and priced well.

Our home away from home in New Orleans
The comfort of modern hotels but the nods of historical New Orleans. The Inn at St Peters was perfect! In the heart of the French Quarter, it is close enough to be involve in everything including random parades but far enough to be able to sleep in peace and quiet. The staff is incredibly helpful. The beds are as best we have ever slept on away from home! We had such a wondeful time we encouraged our cousin to come in mid-visit and stay here too. We will absolutely be staying here again. This was our home away from home for our 21st anniversary for 8 days and we are so happy we chose The Inn at St Peters.

French quarter charm on a budget
This hotel was the most affordable choice within the heart of the french quarter with both a great rating and a king-sized bed. Overall we enjoyed the stay, nice area, walkable to most places and close to bus and street car on Rampart. AC and fan worked well and quietly. Friendly staff and they were able to store my luggage after checkout, although not in a secure area, just dumped in the lobby, but they were safe upon our return. Main downsides were a very small bathroom in room 13 anyway, hard to maneuver with 2 people. No safe or fridge in room but ice is available in an alley behind the hotel. The iron staircase was a challenge, not sure why it was hard to get up and down, but especially with bags. Pay a worker to move them for you, much better choice. The first night was SO LOUD from street noise, garbage trucks move in every day around 4 or 5 am. Sirens, cars, etc. It got a bit better the other nights, but be aware the doors are not very soundproof and you are right on the street. Bed was adequate, not super hard but not the most comfortable, either. I would consider staying here again if I couldn't find another place that didn't cost double. I wish there had been "do not disturb" signs for the door because I did not really need housekeeping to come in just to replace towels that had only been used once.

Quaint little spot in the quarter.
Location was excellent for walking the French Quarter, just a few blocks off Bourbon. Room was clean and comfortable. Apparently room 7 is where Johnny Thunders of the New York Dolls died, so we made sure to say “hi” and “bye” to him during our comings and goings. It can be a little noisy at night, but you are in the French Quarter, so it was expected. Would stay here again.
