Be careful with your credit card
I will not be staying at this hotel again. When checking in I was told my card wasn’t working and I wound up with multiple pending charges on my credit card. What was supposed to be a charge of $910 ended up with a total of $2730 being held on my card. I had to freeze my card for the entire trip because of it and they refused to help reverse any of the false charges. I also got a different answer from each person I spoke with as to why it was happening. I asked to speak with the manager when there was finally one on site and they wouldn’t even come out of their office to help me. Thankfully I’m smart enough to keep cash on me in case something happens as I had to freeze my credit card to keep it from happening again since one of them told me it would continue because they hadn’t authorized my card. I travel somewhat often and have never had this happen ever including at other Marriott owned hotels. Now I have to wait for these charges to post so I can dispute them if they go through as I’m now home from my vacation and still can’t access my card. On top of this the room was dated, had things that needed proper repairs, and the hallway smelled like cigarettes even though there was no smoking. What should have been a relaxing vacation was very stressful and unpleasant.
