Pleasantly Surprised
I was skeptical about staying due to the reviews. However, I was very pleased with the room! Comfortable bed, very clean, and quiet.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not coming back
Some rooms seem to have been rented out to homeless people.
There were also many dogs and it was unclean.
It all felt sketchy, j would not come back.

Will do in an emergency
The chair in the room had grimy armrests and the top of the back of the chair was equally grimy. There appeared to be dried blood on the wall of the bathroom. The bathroom linens were very worn. The curtains were stained. Having said that, it is far, far better than the Comfort Inn in Chelsea. The surfaces appeared to have been cleaned.

Rusted & patched shower basin
Our stay was very short. We simply needed a shower and good sleep as we passed through. The bathtub clearly needed replacing. There was a large oval in the middle of the tub from a previous patch. That patch is giving way and has numerous rusty spots. It was not safe to stand on which made showing impossible. Additionally, the water only got to lukewarm at best. Bed was very firm and AC rattled all night. Awful stay.

Ok and paid too much
The hotel was near downtown Chelsea and that made it easy to get to the purple rose theater. Our room was basic king room. Bathtub was rusty where you stand to take a shower. Maintenance had tried to patch it but there was a lot of rust coming through.

I paid more for the room then listed. We were supposed to have 2king size beds. There were 2 queen size. The bathroom needed a lot of updates. The hot breakfast was frozen waffles you could put in the toaster. The pool was cold. I would not stay there again.

Not bad for the money
Staff was great, breakfast was fantastic, everything was clean. The only issue I had was that the TV remote didn't seem to be working and I was too tired to tell anyone about it lol. But I would definitely stay here again

The property looked a bit tired. The staff was accessible and very eager to please. Breakfast was really poor. as we left the property. Someone told us that they thought they had bedbugs in their room. Can’t confirm that.
