Hotels in Denpasar

There are a lot of places you can visit in Denpasar, from the market, to the mall, supermarket, and restaurants. There are plenty of options to get transportation, we used Grab and Gojek to get around Denpasar.

Sanur is less busy than other parts of Denpasar, which is a big city and so very busy.

Easy to find a hotel on the beach with conveniences within walking distance; the beach is clean but some plastic in the water - not enough to keep us from swimming but not pristine. affordable to hire a driver to get to the sights (Ubud etc).

It's a very busy, crowded city with enormous contradictions concerning infrastructures and poverty. People have a submissive approach while asking too many questions and try to sell you something all the time.

Turtle tank was great, our little daughter hot to feed the turtles and helped cleaning the turtle bassin. Amazing experience. Sanur beach front is great, nice walk, cafes, restaurants and shops.

Sanur has lovely little shops and eateries. The Balinese are delightful - very helpful and kind. A great place to peacefully enjoy a relaxing time.

It's easy to go sightseeing, and once you get into Denpasar, you can eat cheap and delicious Indonesian food.

traffic can be bad at times, it always takes longer to get somewhere so make sure you have plenty of time to get to your destination.

It's a nice place. But there are a lot of annoying vendors, especially on the beaches. And sellers have two prices: one for locals and one for foreigners. And accordingly, the latter price is several times higher than the former.
