You might want to get your camera out and head to Great Dixter House and Gardens – just one of the landmarks located 1 mi (1.6 km) from central Northiam.
If you like spending time outside, why not spend the afternoon at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, a park in the heart of Rye Harbour? Hotels.com travellers also say the area is relaxing and that it has lots of nice beaches. Want to stretch your legs a little more? Head to Lamb House, located nearby.
"High quality fittings and fixtures in bed and spacious bathroom. Lovely shower with clearly marked toiletries. Nice little extras (e.g. a fan and clothes brush). Neat tea/coffee making area. Double aspect in both bed and bathroom (that’s a first!). The staff and receptionist are cheerful, helpful and friendly and the location of the hotel on the beach with its gorgeous terrace is perfect. Breakfast: Eggs Benedict cooked perfectly, lovely pastries and fresh bed - plus plus. Next job is to find out how much the rooms with the balconies overlooking the sea are…. All 5 star, no minuses. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"I would stay at this property again. It was very comfortable and clean. We were able to walk to a very nice restaurant and a beautiful park. The staff were very friendly and check in was easy. "
"Really friendly welcome at reception and we quickly got our keys for two twin rooms. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable.
We used the hotel to stay overnight before a Channel Tunnel crossing which was just 10 minutes away.
It was the cheapest hotel that I could find in the area and exceeded my expectations. The decor was improved from the hotel's appearance on Channel 4's "4 In A Bed" a few years previous.
Slightly disappointed that they don't offer breakfast, but Gingers in Hythe was excellent.
