Beach boys are a bit disturbing, you cannot stay alone without dealing with them. They ask you all kinds of things until they reach a Yes, but people are mostly very kind.

Fun area but I think walking outside the hotel grounds after dark may not be super safe. It was too hot to walk during the day and honestly we didn't try to leave the hotel after dark so maybe consult a different review

The area is quite but not far from Kendwa which is the area that has better beaches and lots of activities

"It's over 1 hr. drive from the airport but once you get to the hotel you would feel the peace and serenity around you enough to forget your journey. The newly built accommodation is really nice but they need to either get a king mattress of put a frame around the twin XL mattress to prevent them from separating if you roll towards the middle."
"We honeymoon’ed at My Blue Hotel for 6 days and loved it! The hotel property is beautiful and clean. We chose the half board option, and really enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel. There are also several nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner that are walking distance.
Furthermore, the staff were lovely. We had a smooth check in and check out experience and the cleaning staff left cute designs with towels and flowers on our bed for our honeymoon.
The rooms were good - had everything you need including bug nets! Staff would also spray the room in the evening to keep bugs away which was greatly appreciated.
The view of the beach was great and we didn’t have any issues getting a beach chair to sit on at any time of the day.

"Start with the hotel was beautiful! I was walking with a complementary juice. The staff was so nice and welcoming to me and they took my luggage and show me my room and later I had dinner which was amazing and their breakfast is also good. I only stayed for one night but it was a wonderful experience. The property has amazing views and a great to sun bathe. Definitely a Top stay in the Zanzibar area!"
"Nice resort. Good food. Large rooms with nice showers and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Security around the property made me feel safe. Beach is nice when the tide is out. Lots of lounge chairs available. Workers all over the property cleaning, raking, trimming the trees/bushes. Very well maintained public spaces. "
