One of my favorite Beach towns in Central Coast California. It's one of the southern most - making it a great location for central coast vibes yet not that far from LA & adventures further south. My preference is to stay local -food, shops & beaches

Eric Ericsson's on the pier is a nearby restaurant to the Pierpont Inn to enjoy great, fresh seafood with gorgeous views to the ocean. Located above the restaurant is the MadeWest Brewing Co. with beers brewed in Ventura! So much to enjoy!

Downtown Main street and Ventura Avenue are great antique and thrifting locations as well as a diverse choice of eateries and pubs. Loads of live music on weekends. Google murals of Ventura avenue for a nice "art walk"

Ventura is a quaint little area. The downtown area is within walking distance and offers cute little shops and restaurants. There are many homeless people along the boardwalk area and in the park.

When in Ventura we always eat at Dargans, browse the thrift and antique stores and play at the beach which includes a walk on the pier.

I love visiting Ventura! Never had a bad experience. The downtown district is great and plenty of things to do!
"An older motel but kept up nicely. The room was very clean. A decent breakfast. A little out of town but only a 10 minute drive. I would stay there again. "
"Wonderful property. We stayed at rooms 152 and 158, and they were excellent. Not sure of other rooms. These were renovated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, they have complementary bikes, beach toys, boggie boards, etc."
