Stockholm far exceeded my expectations. It is so charming & everyone is so friendly. Gamla Stan (old town) and the ABBA museum were the stars of our vacation. We loved all the little shops and all the food options. We will be back. We adore Stockholm

I really didn't know what to expect from Stockholm and what I experienced absolutely blew my mind. It is now one of my favorite cities on the planet. The old city of Stockholm is incredibly picturesque with phenomenal architecture. I'll be back often

A substantial european capital with plenty of choice for drinks, dining, museums, attractions etc. Clean friendly, and feels safe. It was very cold when we visited (-15, feels like -22 on the last day) but right clothes & fine. Wished I had longer.

Vasa museum is a must! Take the commuter ferry to Vaxholm if you want a taste of island life and traditional Swedish wooden homes. Only £4 for an adult and takes 1 hr. Nice scenery along the route. Skansen is good fun and loved the Nordic animals.

Stockholm is a Scandinavian city so it's safe with good public transport, but is best walked. Food is on the expensive side for Americans but lots of options. If the weather is nice archipelago boat tour if not Vasser Museum. Most speak English.

Stockholm is a great city with so much going on. We visited in the winter and the whole city was lit with pretty Christmas lighting. Streets are clean and safe. Public transport is affordable and reliable. Love to go back in the summer again.

We went to Gamla Stan (and saw the Palace, the Cathedral, and walked around and did some shopping), and we went on a kayaking tour, an Archipelago boat trip, and to the Skansen outdoor museum. I highly recommend every one of these outings!

Easily walkable city and trains were spot on and timely. First time here.. came specifically to see Kent in concert and explored many museums, Gamla Stan and several great restaurants (Hairy Pig, Meatballs for the People were the tops)

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the commitment to being eco-friendly. There are walking and bike paths everywhere, and little car traffic for such a large city. The people I spoke with were friendly and helpful.

What a fascinating and beautiful city! So many museums and history to absorb each day. After visiting once eight years ago, I still feel like I have only scratched the surface of what is available to see. We hope to return!
"We stayed at Scandic Continental for 5 nights, arriving from the airport by train, giving us a 3 minute walk from Central Station...big plus point for ease of transfer.
On arrival, we could see straight away that this would be a great place to stay. Modern, clean and with great facilities, I can find no fault with this hotel.
Our room on floor 9 had a corner aspect, giving great views to the nearby church, across the city and to the harbour. The room was excellent, modern and with a clean elegant feel.
Possibly the highlight though was the included breakfast. Available on floors 1 and 3, it was an extensive buffet....hot items, cold meat and cheese, waffles, cereal, yoghurt, and much more. An excellent breakfast.
In summary, the Scandic Continental is highly recommended."
"We had a superior King room which I'm glad we did as it wasn't particularly big bur was quite quirky, bed was comfortable and huge, breakfast was superb and Hotel was very central my only gripe was the lifts of which there are 4, one is used expressly for staff, one was broken during the whole of our stay (5 days) and one of the remaing 2 broke which left one lift for a hotel with 13 floors"
"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay . Staff , location and cleanliness were excellent.
Only fault I could find is the fact that water from the fridge was chargeable . This policy should be changed . Not becoming of a 5 star hotel ! "
"A great place to stay for a city break in Stockholm. So easy to get to on the Arlanda Express from the airport but despite the location right next to the central station it was really quiet. There was an international conference on at the conference centre whilst we were there yet the hotel still didn’t feel too busy.
The staff were really friendly and professional and the breakfast was lovely. Within good walking distance to the city centre and the old town the location was perfect for us. The whole trip exceeded our expectations; there’s so much to enjoy in Stockholm city centre and the Radisson Blu Waterfront was superb."
"Great hotel. Very clean. Central to shops and station. The only negative was that we weren’t told we had to make a reservation for breakfast. The restaurant was full but the wonderful waitress kindly accommodated us - we sat at the bar instead. Not ideal but fine. The breakfast selection was excellent."
"we stayed for 6 nights. great location. very clean. nice staff. great breakfast! only down side is we went in mid july and the rooms would get really hot during the day and there’s no AC. we made due and kept the blinds closed during the day and opened the windows at night. other than that it was a great stay!
