. The breakfast was a more than an adequate portion with fresh, well cooked produce. We loved every minute of our stay.
There was a slight issue with payment (the hotel was not at fault). However, I was provided with reassurance that this would be rectified, and it was. "

was lovely. The ice room was amazing but a little disappointed the sauna was closed on the day we went. "

"A decent stay at a weekend during the winter period of low occupancy that was generally pleasant. The main areas of the hotel were modern clean and well kept. The room was small with the single bed (as I paid for) in an alcove (so access from one side) but comfortable and clean; the bathroom was modern and clean. The bedroom floor - while clean - squeaked a lot....as did the others in the hotel seemingly which was disconcerting and annoying when the same heard from other rooms.

was nice and warm, would be nice if it was included in the price but the £6 charge each wasn’t too bad. Breakfast tasted nice and was hot too which was a bonus. Some of the corridors had an offensive smell. "

"It is what it is. Fabulous hotel with amazing views. Communal areas have so much history. Drinks are very expensive, but it’s what you’d expect in a hotel. The rooms are dated, but very comfortable and perfectly adequate. Good value for money!
Only one complaint, had to queue for over 30 minutes to book in and get key. Other than that a great stay!"
