"This hotel is great to stay at when you need to fly from Schiphol airport or when you go to Amsterdam and have a car which is hard to park inside Amsterdam. You can take the shuttle to the airport (frequent and easy) and take a train into Amsterdam city center. The amenities at the hotel are great. The rooms are quiet and the beds are wonderful!! Huge plus. The only thing I miss is a hot water cooker for tea. When you use the coffee machine it tastes coffee. Dutch people love their tea at night....

"The ship is amazing, so beautiful and a real history lesson in 1950s glamour.
I was on a work conference and the facilities were great as were the lunches and dinners.

area was great. Food is good and breakfastbuffet had something for everyone.
Rooms are fine - but if you are a clean-freak, then this is absolutely not the place for you. It is worn and tired, and whoever does the cleaning is super lazy - closet, bed, table - nothing is vacuumed under."

Superior Room very good, big and with big bathroom and nice shower. Room very modern. We transferred from a standard room in the old wing which was small, dated, and opressive - surprised that NH has rooms of such poor quality....

Cheese fondue though was not so good: it taste like a 'ready to use' package that just need to be warm up from the supermarket. So the " specialty" status is overrated. If i come back I'd be happy to help the chef cook a proper fondue as I'm very good at it.

We have been to the Kurhaus on many occasions, particularly during Xmas's, when the Kurhaus has had special programs, and enjoyed a truly Dutch Xmas. The rooms are nice, and updated. The elevators could be faster, but in a 4-story buidling, it is not terrible to take the stairs to its unique mezzanine and then down to the Kurzaal, the restuarant, and the terrasse. ...
