Lovely Stay at Lasha Crest
For a short solo visit to Windhoek, I absolutely recommend staying at the welcoming Lasha Crest guest house! The owner, Charity, is so lovely to talk to and is welcoming, helpful, and kind. Although the location is about a 15 minute drive from the city center, the taxi to town is only $12 Namibian and from town to the house is $24. The kitchen is available for use, so I enjoyed saving money by buying groceries in town and preparing it at the house. The room is like a guest bedroom in the family's home- the bed is comfortable and the room is very clean! There is even a laundry machine, which was a huge help. For an accommodation other than a hostel or expensive hotel, I absolutely recommend staying at Lasha Crest! :)
