The Moorings Inn is located in an ideal location. Southwest Harbor is quaint and less busy than Bar Harbor. The views are beautiful and the people at Mooring's are thoughtful about their guests.

Located in the quietside area of Acadia. Excellent view. Appreciated the calmness of the area. We stayed in the Topside. Furnishings are a throwback in time, which we appreciated, but others might not. Just be prepared to not expect that.

Was a quaint place with antiques finishing from top to bottom but was really to much making it crapped. Was clean but time for new sinks and bathroom fixtures. Couldn’t get bathroom door closed and a struggle to lock the room door. Great location though.

Moorings
very out dated rooms, but a wonderful location and beautiful view. Staff was great. But we asked for a first floor room. We made our reservation at Hotels.com and got a good rate. They over charged us and we asked for a refund which we got. But they put us in the worse room. On the second floor up a slippery rickety wooden stairway. Didn't get much sleep- bed was pushed into a corner. No plugs for phone or medical equipment.

Was a great place to relax, especially with firepit after dinner. Only issue was dog barking in cottage next to us. I'm a dog owner, but our neighbors were either deaf or used to it. Finally had to call and complain.

We had a nice time. It is a beautiful location with great views of the mountains and water. They could have done a better job on breakfast.

Pretty water view and quaint furnishings. Also liked the wine and cheese and breakfast. Was not happy that the room had no tv

This property was very unique. House is very old, so fun to stay here! It was in good shape for being over 200 years old. And it was clean.

Great 1765 Inn!!
Great old inn (1765). Right on the water with a tremendous view. On the quiet side of the island but with plenty of great things to do within easy driving distance.
Especially liked the friendliness of the staff and the chance to socialize with the other guests.
Would stay here again without hesitation.

Loved It!!!
Was a wonderful place on the waterfront. We built a fire in the fire pit both nights and other guests came and joined us so we met some nice people from different places. The staff was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. We loved staying there and will stay there again in the future.
