Superb bar local bar noise which was a one off
Only complaint was noise from the neighbouring Perch bar / club 10-2am
Stayed numerous times before fantastic hotel, very clean and service is excellent and lovely cocktails and view in the observatory bar, this wouldn’t put us off staying again but was an inconvenient one off

Not what we were expecting
The stay was ok, however it didn’t quite meet our expectations. I initially informed the hotel that it was my partners birthday and would have thought there would have been some sort of acknowledgment towards that, but there was nothing. We had to book to go to the observatory and did not receive a phone call. When we returned and asked how long it would be, we were informed our name had been ‘ticked off’ the list. We were then escorted to a seat by a staff member who was apologetic about what had happened. When we were sat down we received a phone call asking if we still wanted our seat in the observatory which we found strange as we had been told they’d ticked us off & been seated by a member of staff.
After returning to our room later that evening we couldn’t get the lights to work, even with changing the room card. This continued into the morning where we showered on the dark and I needed my phone light to apply makeup.
Upon check out we were informed that it is a common complaint about the lights. If this is the case, surely in a hotel of this calibre this could be rectified, or acknowledged by way of informing guests upon arrival.
