Negatives- Hotel was very basic, no fridge, no safe, no air con, no smoke detectors in the room. The toilet smelt really bad, I think it’s the water in the toilets. There was no reception staff or any staff members from 10pm-8am, they say if any emergencies to call a mobile number. Good things- room was spacious, bed was huge, nice pillows, flooring was nice (wood). Breakfast wasn’t too bad, €5 PP for buffet breakfast. You could have scrambled eggs, bacon, mini sausages, bread rolls, cheese, hams, coffees/teas, juices, croissants, marble cake, fresh fruit. breakfast was from 8am-10am. (Not much of a window) they should really serve from 8am-11am at least. The room was very cheap, me and my husband paid £20 per night which is a bargain. The hotel is based on a hill, we walked down 3 mini hills to get to the ‘high street’ and you can only imagine what it was like getting back up to the hotel! There were regular buses that go into the city centre, buses 1,2 and 4. The hotel provided us with shampoo and soap bars, and you can ask for irons or hair dryers from the front reception
