The room was located close to the Piazza Popolo, and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The room was spacious with a large, separate bathroom. Only problem was the shower head didn't work but the handheld did. If we had had time for a bath, it would have been a treat in the large tub. Toilet did not flush that well, but told that the owner was aware and will be fixing it.
Aside from that, Dora was there to greet us, even tried to help us with our luggage. She was exceptional in not only being a wealth of information about Rome, providing maps, and suggestions on transportation and major attractions, but she really couldn't have made us feel more welcome. She made us a cappuccino as soon as we got settled, showed us all the breakfast items for the morning, and arranged van transport to the airport. We were sad that we couldn't stay more than a night, but will return to Domus Popolo next time we are in Rome!
