Okayama friendly hotel.
The hotel is very convenient for travelers who use the railways as their mode of transport. The rooms are well maintained and clean.The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK depending on what time you got there. On the whole I would recommend the Toyoko hotels.

Very budget conscious hotel. Felt more like a hostel. Self serve check-in. Older property, but clean. Mattress very hard, yet I still slept well. Breakfast in the morning was pretty substantial. Okoyama is very friendly town. Hotel is very close to Okayama station. Many chances to find good foods, shops and restaurants. The best breakfest during our 2 - weeks journey in the Japan cities and islands. Very good also cleanless and personal service.

It was good experience but if the hotel didn’t give us drink bottle, please put the water dispenser at every floor, because they only put water dispenser for drink at near of receptions, it little bit inconvenience for guest who want to drink a lot (have to go back many times to get water drink)

Checkin time policy of TOYOKO inns
Very conveniently located to the train station and as always the staff are efficient . Sometimes it is a shame that no flexibility is offered to check in a little early .when we arrived it was raining ,and instead of being able to check in we had to wait in the bus station while it rained heavily , then walk back to the hotel in the rain . We used TOYOKO for most of our travels in Honshu
