Dear Folks, you need to watch out for this hotel in terms of agreements.
I went to the hotel and checked in before midnight. I kindly requested a late checkout for 1pm.
Then the morning front desk attendant called my room 11:50am and instructed me to leave in 10 minutes.
I mentioned that last night’s attendant granted me a late checkout, claimed not to understand English. Told me to wait, then played a recorded message either to pay an extra fee or we we call the police to remove you. Then the call ended.
I called back and the attendant hung up on me and said played another message and the recording said the police are on the way to the hotel.
I thought this was a joke.
So I went to the lobby to ask for the manager and the front desk refused to give me the person.
Then this attendant, grabbed her cellphone and called the police, I said please don’t call the police I want to talk to your manager. Shortly after, the police arrived, luckily they spoke English and I explained that I wanted to complain to the manager, the police officer was shocked.
Police advised me they have the right to charge you extra if they want to , so I had to pay an extra 15 dollars per hour.
They refuse to give you the invoice at the beginning of check in and write down the terms. Once I got the invoice, there isn’t any terms.
Beware
