The whole point of our staying on New Years Eve was to swim and hang out with our kids. We got to the hotel only to find out that the heaters for the hot tub and pool were out of order. I wish we would have been notified prior to arrival so alternate plans could have been made.

The hotel desk lady was not friendly at all. She made no welcoming comment and answered questions in a monotonous voice without making much eye contact. And gave us some bad look too. Maybe we arrived too late, and she's tired? This is a very unwelcome feeling I've never felt in any hotel.
