Worst Customer Service Ever!
This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. After booking over a month ago, we showed up to be told we had been double booked by hotels.com and there was no availability. We had driven over two hours from Liberia with our four young kids. The owner kept saying it was not his fault and he had no way to e-mail or call. He then said our best bet was to get in the car and drive out of town to see anything else was available. It was Easter Weekend and the busiest Saturday of the year. We went next door to The Flying Crocodile. They didn't have rooms but she called around and found us a place at Las Ranas. It was a hundred dollars more. We went back to the Paraiso de Cocodrilo and the guy would not even give us a dime to compensate. No free dinner, no kind word for our disappointed kids! Nothing!!! I find it interesting that if the situation were reversed, I would have to pay the whole amount for not showing up! Our customer service experience with the Flying Crocodile was 100% better and we hadn't even booked a room with them. If you want to stay in this spot, stay there at the Flying Crocodile.
