How is this a 5 star hotel?
I paid money for this? It's the question I asked myself 10 minutes getting into my "premium King room". Stains and ripped carpet, stains on the ceiling, poor/lazy repairs on the walls and bathtub. Also they give you bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap but they are too big for the shower holder. The toilet is manger locked to high heat for the seat so your sweating before you're done. The staff is nice and friendly but clearly IHG is running this hotel into the ground because I've been in 2-3 star hotels far better than this mess.

The hotel was next to everything in Yokohama. We walked all the way to Chinatown no problem. Beautiful lobby and nice view of the city. We were happy with the price and the property.

Unforgetable stay at Intercontinental at Yokohama.
Great to return after a 13 yr absence to experience the highest of standards that are difficult to beat. My wife loved the dinner, Taste of Japan, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff from reception to travel by the coach to Haneda airport.

Very good hotel to stay
Amazing hotel, stayed here before, room was fantastic, location is perfect. Only downside is the teppanyaki, it’s expensive and not value for money, I had better ones at a lower price, sadly even my vegetable was charred. But overall the hotel is fantastic. Will bring my family here again.
