Good location and comfortable room
Newly renovated hostel. I rented a twin room ,it was very comfortable and clean. Shared toilet and bath but it's ok. Just it open for check in at 4 pm only. It's within walking distance to the main train station and another smaller station. There is place for cooking with utensils.

Walkable from station. Nice hostel-type accommodation. A bit pricey for shared bathroom situation but overall a good clean space with friendly staffing.

Lovely little guesthouse with character
Lovely little guesthouse, made a lovely relaxed change for the compact little city business hotels we had been in. Lovely tatami mat room, shared bathroom facilities but they were very clean and everything you needed. Great communal area to sit and relax, read and have a beer after a busy day sight seeing. Very close to the station, Very friendly staff, would definitely come back again

Perfect guesthouse for Ise travellers
My friend and I stayed in the private tatami room for two nights and we are very happy overall with the facility. Clean beds and bathrooms, great kitchen, free cold tea, charming guest/living space and terrific staff. For a great trip, rent the bicycles provided for 500 yen/day and ask Hiro for advice on sightseeing and restaurants. All of his recommendations were on point and we really enjoyed our stay in Ise. The living space inside the guesthouse is the most charming used of space I've seen in any hostels and even hotels. Overall a 4.5/5 rating. Recommend for any traveller visiting Ise.

Nice hostel, friendly staff
Nice hostel, we had a private room for two. There are shared dormitories with bunks also. Shared shower on the lower floor, bathroom was on the same floor as the room. Laundry machine was available for only 100Yen. Staff is international, mostly stay-ins from other countries (Taiwan, Malaysia) they are friendly and warm. Shared kitchen means you can keep your breakfast items in a communal refrigerator. Room was clean (tatami room) with AC. As with tatami rooms there is nothing but the room and bedding on the floor. You should spend your time in the lounge area anyway and mingle with the staff and other guests. Lights out is at 11 pm, lounge closes and it is quiet time, which I found good. A supermarket is nearby for buying Bento if you want to save money, and a nice public bathhouse with a salt water bath is nearby for 350Yen with coupon.

This is a nice little hostel in Ise only a few minutes walk from Iseshi Station. It is very close Geku (the outer shrine portion of Ise-jingu) and has many restaurants and shopping areas within a few blocks. The bus to Naiku (the inner shrine portion of Ise-jingu) is very close, though I opted to rent a bicycle from the hostel (500 yen) and ride about 15 minutes down the main street to Naiku instead. I am female and I stayed in a mixed-gender dormitory room. The bed was clean and had a privacy curtain, and I felt safe staying there. The staff was polite and very helpful. I was able to leave my bags in a storage room after I checked out for ease of travel during the day, a service that I really appreciated.

A guesthouse for the adventurous
I was visiting Japan's most important Shinto Shrine and could not find any other place to stay. Since I booked late, the only option was 'female dormitory'. It was a real adventure. Definitely this place is more of a Youth Hostel and for young people. If you like it funky, japanese style!
