You get what you pay for - happy!
A good stay, fairly comfortable room with a good hot shower. Various degrees of English spoken by members of staff. Breakfast good but a little repetitive as we stayed for six nights.

Great place to stay in Dalat!!
My Dream Hotel is a great place to stay in Dalat. The rooms were spacious and the Host, Ha, is gracious. The breakfast is really good, served daily with a delicious homemade jam that will make you look forward to getting out of bed for breakfast every morning. The staff is awesome and accommodating. The owner (Ha) and her dog will melt your heart. The hotel is in a great location with a lot of nice restaurants in the area. Great Value!! Try the Banh Duc from the cart next door!!

Great location helpful staff
The price is very reasonable and the staff friendly and helpful. You can arrange and pay for day tours and transportation at the hotel. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to see in minutes. The front rooms are bright but noisy. The back rooms are quiet but darker. The staff was happy to change our room. Good breakfast.

Noisy
The staffs and the owner were friendly, however the facilities is old as has been used for a years. The cabinet are with molds and bad smell, no TV and hair dryer at the moment of staying. Spending there 2 nights and its noisily in the mighnight with some boys raced Motobikes in the night. Not sleeping well. In overall, it's worth with itself fee and the important thing was relaxed outside with fresh air almost of the time in DA LAT

Don't stay here
I booked a double room for 5 nights via Cheap Tickets. Upon arrival, they said that they were overbooked so they had to put us in their sister hotel, which was in a small narrow street and far from the city centre. To make it worse, the room that they put me in had only a bed. Nothing else! My booking came with free breakfast but they said we wouldn't get any breakfast because we didn't pay enough. Really? Then why advertise free breakfast? We paid what they asked on Cheap Tickets website. Not sure what they meant by not paying enough. They wanted me to stay at their sister hotel for 2 nights, but couldn't warranty a room at their hotel after that. I decided to call Cheap Tickets asking for a refund so that I could go to a different hotel. When Cheap Tickets called them, they said that there was a room for us so they wouldn't refund. However, when we called them back, all we got was abuse from the owner. She claimed that she had to no idea who Cheap Tickets was, she didn't want to work with them. Strange! We gave up and stayed at the sister hotel for 2 nights. When we moved to their hotel, the room was mouldy and dirty. We asked to move to a different room. The owner threw another storm of abuse to us, especially because we paid a lower price via Cheap Tickets. Fortunately she was tired with her abuse and decided that she didn't want us at the hotel any more. She gave us a refund and kicked us out. We found much better and cheaper hotel for the rest of our stay.

The hotel was older with older furniture, simple room. The mattresses were kind of hard, but that seems typical. The woman owner was wonderful, spoke English well, and was very concerned that we were comfortable. She was helpful with advice. She made us a simple, but lovely breakfast. Location very good. I would stay here again.

Great stay
We were here just for a few nights whilst travelling Vietnam. The rooms are better than what you pay for and the service was brilliant. The owner helped us out with booking trips (much cheaper than a lot of the agents) and really made you feel welcome. She even let me use her mobile when my bank blocked my account. Breakfast was really nice for the price. Eggs bread fruit and some delicious homemade jam. With tea or coffee.

4/10 Fair

Ok for those on a budget, but rooms not great.
We can't fault the the family who own the hotel, they were so helpful with everything we needed and were always on hand with advice on the local area, where to eat etc. But the hotel is exactly what you would expect for the price, unfortunately rooms are very dated and smelt slightly damp and mouldy. Bed and sheets were clean but bed was quite hard. There was a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee to go with it. We found a cockroach in our fridge which wasn't a very nice surprise :( the breakfast was lovely, fried eggs with fresh bread and jam. Overall for what we paid for three nights the hotel was ok, but we didn't want to spend more time in our room then we needed too. For anyone on a budget we'd recommend the hotel purely for the owners, location and the breakfast.

Great manager and location
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and professional and the location was perfect! The room was also very clean. The best part was the delicious breakfast they served every morning! The manager speaks English and is very helpful. It's an affordable place located in a very convenient part of town!

Great value, just as advertised.
My Dreams hotel is clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. Pleasantly surprised by a great host who helps with tours and info about Dalat. A map was provided, taking a taxi to attractions and walking back to the hotel is a good way to see the town. Home made jam at breakfast. Stayed three days and will return.

Ok
The room we booked online for $11 (Australian dollars) wasnt what we thought we were getting. It was at the back and not that nice so we upgraded for $12US to a street veiw. It was as the picture shows however it was noisy. We were used to the noise though and slept well on a comfortable bed. There was a leak from the ceiling which splashed onto our toilet which was a little annoying. Also being a basic hotel be aware that you don't flush the toilet paper. There is bin provided. Checking out we had problems as the owner said that she didn't have a contract with Wotif. Even though I showed her the print out of Wotif taking the money for the booking I had to pay again. I'm blessed that I got her to write a receipt of paymrnt as it's been several weeks now of trying to get the money back. I have just recieved notification because of proof of purchase that it will be refunded. All up. Would have been a good stay but this soured it for me.

Good value and Great hosts.
Lovely family that accommodated me very well and were so kind even inviting me to join the family for lunch at the hotel. I stayed the first night in a room that was spacious but unfortunately very noisy from the street and quite high up for flights of stairs but was comfortable although a little dated. They did not have availability for the next night and moved me to their other hotel which was fine the first night despite losing a pizza to an invasion of ants but the second night I had a very noisy family next door with screaming and shouting kids. Vietmanese have very little consideration for other people whether it is crossing the road or controlling their kids but this was generally out of control of the owners. Cleanliness could have been better with the ants problem and hairs in the bed and when I reported I had no hot water on the shower (tap not working), they sent a plumber within a couple of hours to fix it so top marks there. Great hosts just let down by a few niggles.

Don't Stay Here
Hotel was very old and loud. They did my laundry and lost a pair of my pants. When I asked them about it they just brushed me off saying "we think we gave you everything." Had three people staying in the room and would only give two towels everyday, would never replenish the shampoo or body wash and the owner kept changing the price of everything. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent choice for dalat
Friendly and helpful staff, motorbike hire, good breakfast, good location and all round good experience, not the Hilton but good value for money and better than other places you could stay in Dalat by far, they also helped organise our shuttle to bus station and made our trip easy and pleasant, we recommend!

Friendly Helpful Hotel - Handy Central Location
Lovely friendly hotel, the lady that runs the hotel was very friendly and very helpful, so were her staff. Breakfast was amazing, lovely fresh Baguette with a fried egg, banana and lovely home made Jam and a creamy coffee. Room was large and comfortable with a lovely little balcony overviewing the street. Very handy for smokers Bathroom has mould on the walls which was totally out of place for the rest of the building as everything was clean and lovely. I suspect the mould is a longer term issue that isn't so easy to sort out hence its existence. We did notify Orbitz that we had a child with us and room was for 3. Breakfast the following day we were notified that payment didnt include a complimentary breakfast for the 3rd person. We were disappointed with this and had to pay a further 30,000 VND each day even though we clearly had booked a room for 3. We believe that its a glitch in the booking system rather than with the hotel. Considering the price of the hotel and quality of the room we were happy to pay the additional breakfast costs. Lovely hotel, lovely owner, night staff cannot understand english so please download a translator app, however they were quick to jump on the phone to the owner and put us on the line to sort out any questions,, very happy with the service and lovely honest people. Would return again.

Comfortable stay
We enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. Staff was super friendly and helped pack up our breakfast on the day of our early departure to catch the bus. Room was clean and comfortable. No need for AC in the cool nights in Dalat. Great location close to the market and lake. Fantastic value for money. Highly recommended!
