Garden-beauty Channers is the place
We had a wonderful time at Channers which suited us perfectly. Set in beautiful gardens, within walking distance to the shopping centre, and with a neat little car included in the price. We stayed at Apartment One in the original homestead, and we had loads of room and lots of comfort among the beauty of Norfolk Island. We will definitely be visiting again.

Located at the end of the main shopping street, handy location. Nice unit. Had everything we needed. Unit was not used for a while and therefore a bit dusty, but was cleaned straightaway. We planned to bike, but as the island is pretty steep in places having a car available was very useful. Kerry Ann was very helpful and a wonderful host.

Beautiful apartment and amazing hosts
We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment with our 18 month old daughter and it was perfect with everything you could need. The gardens are lovely and the apartments super clean, comfy and tastefully furnished. We were provided a highchair and cot free of charge which was great. The owners who live onsite are super lovely and helpful. We were baked a fresh cake on arrival which was delicious. Its also really close to town and the historical area of Kingston and the only swimming beach. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely place to spend a week
We stayed in the upstairs suite, which has lovely views and a cozy atmosphere. Our hosts went to great lengths to help us enjoy our stay, tracking down children's toys and extra kitchen utensils when we asked, and even going as far as building a toddler-proof gate at the top of the stairs to keep our 1-year-old daughter safe for the week. I still feel like I should've paid them extra for the "concierge" service! Their hire car was very convenient, being parked outside our room ready to go as soon as we arrived, and we were able to drop it off at the airport ourselves, giving us time to do last-minute shopping on our final morning.

Beautiful holiday home, perfect location
We could not have been happier with our stay at Channers - it exceeded our expectations in every way. Channers is comprised of several self-contained units and one large house - 'Channers by the C' - which is where we were lucky enough to stay. We loved everything about the house, but the highlights were the stunning views of Phillip Island, huge sheltered outdoor BBQ patio (with same view) and beautiful lush gardens (which we had completely to ourselves and came complete with several chickens and Richard the Rooster). The house itself was also fantastic, and with 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms our family of 4 was spoiled for space. Unusually for the island there was also free Wifi and Foxtel. The free inclusions of car hire for the duration (just fill the tank before you leave) plus a half day tour to familiarise ourselves with the island were also fantastic. The managers Steve and Kerri-Anne were lovely - very knowledgeable and helpful when we needed anything, and always available as they live on-site, while still giving us complete space and privacy throughout our stay. The house was the perfect base for all our activities - with a beautiful, peaceful rural setting while still in a central location in walking distance to shops and cafes.I'd recommend Channers by the C to anyone and would definitely go back there. I'd also recommend Norfolk Island to anyone looking for a great family holiday, particularly for younger kids as it's so safe and friendly with heaps to do.

Not what the photos show
We thought it was shabby and needed a bit of work. The BBQs were too dirty to use and the area which had a nice view needed a good clean up. Only one change of towels for a week stay. Never saw any staff except on arrival.
