Do you have clean bedding?
Stayed at a pet friendly accommodation but management was scared of my small dog. Had to request clean bedding. There was dirt, burrs from the outdoors, pet hair & dander when the covers were pulled down. When requested to have clean bedding management was a bit argumentative.

Worst of the worst
Booked a handicap room. Had a low toilet one grab bar to side of toilet which was useless! Not at all a handicap room! The floor was dirty when arrived, never had an extra roll of toilet paper. Had booked two nights unfortunately! Room wasn’t cleaned next day even though sign was out to have room cleaned! Had to go ask for toilet paper & some towels as nothing was done at the room & hotel was not busy only a few guests! Would never recommend this place!!!

This hotel was filthy. We were afraid to climb into the sheets, so we slept in our steeping bags. Bathroom was especially dirty, with dirt and mold. Do not stay here.

Bare bones motel.
Run down condition. In need of updating. Beds need replacing, no support at all. Light fixtures only had 1 of 3 bulbs working. Tiny tv. On the bright side, baseboard heating was a nice change from window fans. Room was very quiet.

The location was great. A nice little walk to some restaurants and pub. Also we were very close to the pedestrian bridge and beautiful walks aling the river. Since the motel wasnt busy that evening, we had a very quiet stay. Although the bed didnt look promising, we did have a great sleep. We were comfortable. As with so many motels, the linens are worn out. We dont appreciate seeing the coffee maker, cups, eyc right next to the bathroom sink. It really should not be in the bathroom. I'm not sure where it could have been put otherwise in that room. I think the corners of the bathroom floor could be cleaner and maybe some things repainted. Oh yes, could there be a brighter light. This light was much to dim in order to read while on the sofa. Maybe have a floor lamp. It was a typical motel experience overall. The gentleman at the desk was very welcoming.

Stayed there years ago..Was very nice and clean..staff was friendly. New owners are not doing justice to Mary’s name. Front desk was rude to the man before when he asked for a ground floor room…my room had a large stain on the bed and stains on the bathroom walls. When a room is small and has nothing really to offer you would think it would at least be clean. Sorry to say that will be the last time any of us stay there. Very sad.

Wires were strung from the ceiling to the TV and back to the ceiling. Room had two table lamps that were unplugged and no available outlets to plug them in, except in sink area. Room had a coffee maker but was unplugged - had to plug it in on the other side of the sink. It would not work without the water being full, but provided cups did not hold that amount of coffee - resulting in overflow. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Furniture was old and tired. Room was clean but smelled bad. Daylight could be seen around the air conditioner 'seal'. Window screen was bent and prevented the window from closing properly - needed to straighten so window could be closed and locked.
