Bedbugs
The room a friend and I stayed in had very dry air. It also smelled a bit like mold. We woke up coughing and with dry mouths during the night and in the morning. We also got bedbugs during our stay.

Good little hotel, but difficult to find, there was no sign but rather a buzzer as the building was shared with apartments. Did have a few issues such as cleaniness with sheets, finding blood on a pillow and some noise coming from other rooms.

It was difficult to find, with just a small sign and a buzzer to get in. The elevator was also problematic to say the least The pictures on Expedia don't match reality at all. I wouldn't even consider it a proper hotel. As a solo female traveler, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe, so l left immediately. When I requested a refund, they declined. I'll take the loss. My safety and peace of mind comes first.

Disgusting owner. I never got to check into this hotel. I had my travel documents stolen the night before my check in. I was only checking in as I had to remain in Rome to get new documents. I went around 11 to see in I could leave my bags. I had other ID including a European citizenship card which has my picture, my drivers licence which has my picture and a photocopy of my passport. She informed me that she needed my passport in hand. I explained my circumstances. She called the owner who told me to come back at check in and we would work something out. When I returned he refused to check me in even with all my additional ID. He kept telling me that it was the Italian law. The law states that you need government issued ID. Which I had. But he would only accept the passport in hand. When I asked for a refund since he was refusing my check in he said no. Its impossible. They even refused to give me his name. He literally put me out on the street with no where to go at that time. These people are dishonest and thieves. To take someone’s money, refuse service and then put a single women out on the street is absolutely disgusting. I contacted Expedia but they were no help either. Definitely would never recommend this hotel.

La 1ère impression à l'arrivée
Nous arrivons à 22h30, dans une rue relativement sombre, devant un immeuble de 5 étages sans aucune enseigne lumineuse, une immense porte en bois close, juste une petite plaque en cuivre "MF Hôtel", l'interphone est muet ! A vrai dire un moment d'angoisse !

Accueil inégal selon les employés mais en général très sympa . Hotel idéalement situé à 15 mn à pied du centre ville . Mais ne comptez pas passer du temps dans votre chambre et dans les pièces communes (il n'y en a pas, les petits déj sont servis dans les chambres uniquement) . Excellent rapport qualité prix

Nice&Simple
Upon our arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. Once logged, we were placed in a room immediately next to the reception area. There wasn't any information leaflets about the time of breakfast or general organisation of the hotel. However, the staff readily answered all our queries so this wasn't a problem. Despite us booking a twin room we were given one with a double bed. Again, this didn't bother us as the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Bizarrely, there wasn't any type of wardrobe there and only one chair and a stool. It was a bit difficult, therefore, to keep our clothes in order. The bathroom was clean and a hair dryer provided. The hotel does not have any type of dining area and the breakfast was served in the room. While it was nice to have it in bed, it was rather repetitive. The coffee was very small and there was dry bred served sometimes in abundance, other times in scarcity. The only reservation we had about the brekky was that in spite of us ordering it for specific time, it always seemed to arrive too early - the knock on the door waking us abruptly and unexpectedly. Nevertheless, the people working there were helpful and polite. We were offered a different room the following day, this time with twin beds, so I guess the staff did their best to accommodate us.

preisgünstiges Hotel in Rom
kurzfristig anberaumter Tripp zu den antiken Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt Rom, daher war dieses kleine, im 3. & 4. Stock eines alten römischen Bürgerhauses gelegene Hotel, von dem man so gut wie alle Sehenwürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen konnte, mit einfachem Comfort völlig ausreichend für diesen Zweck !

Holiday we'll never forget...
We stayed at the hotel for 1 week, the hotel itself doesn't have a sign as it's a couple of floors out of an apartment building so it's hard to find. When we got inside we had to go to the 3rd floor to check in, there was a lift but it was very old didnt sound too good...when walking up the stairs we were greeted by a dog. The room had a fridge but it was warmer in the fridge than out, also the ac didn't work but we had a fan. However, the staff were lovely and so helpful, they even let us use the printer. Also, the location is good as it's only a 25 minute walk from termini and the centre of rome
