BIG PROBLEM
BIG PROBLEM! I have stayed at Hotel du Port many times and love the hotel. However, the hotel did not honor my Hotels.com reservation; they explained that They are no longer accepting any reservations through online companies. I was informed that I will need to get a reimbursement from Hotels.com. since Hotels.com already charged me for night, but apparently never paid the hotel. So I was forced to pay for the night, directly to the hotel, after Hotels.com already took my money. I paid twice which and it was a very unpleasant experience after traveling for 24 hours.
I know that I should be reimbursed from Hotels.com but I will believe it when I receive it.
In the meantime I will never use Hotels.com.
Terrible experience.
