Had a great stay here. Ayoub was a great host who was very helpful with arranging a day trip and taxi to airport. For the price of the room was great and breakfast was lovely. Very nice small Riad down a quiet street but really close to the main medina (only a few minutes walk). Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous stay
An amazing week in this beautiful Riad. Wonderfully located near souks, the best restaurants in the Medina (you must try La Terrace Ben Youssef) and a taxi rank for exploring wider afield. Our host was always happy to offer advice, food and smiles and the Riad cat is truly beautiful! Room was comfortable (beds are hard but in a great way) and were cleaned daily. After the initial shock of arriving in such a different world, you feel incredibly safe here. I do recommend you take them up on their offer for an airport taxi as it is tricky to find your way when you first arrive. And they'll happily organise all your excursions, too. They also cook a great dinner if you don't fancy exploring the Medina.

8/10 Very good

Owner is absolutely wonderful and speaks really great English. Offered to get me taxis and excursions if necessary. Breakfast was very good as well. As far as room conditions go, you get what you pay for. Room was spacious but the shower and bathroom were not in great shape. I would book an upper level room if I were to do it again for noise and sewer smell. Phenomenal location and wonderful host!

6/10 Good

Room was smaller then expected. Plenty of storage though. Doors and windows have wide spaces so no privacy. In the sense that everything can be heard inside and outside the room. First morning waking up heard people having breakfast and loud conversation. We were on a first floor room. The walls were peeling and the chalk residue all over our clothes. Bathroom needs maintenance. Water stains, peeling paint, toilet broken and smell of sewer. Breakfast was basic. Wifi was alright. The best things of the stay was the bed. Most comfortable bed i have slept in while in morocco. Good place for just sleep.

This riad is a beautiful hidden gem in the middle of medina. You really get a feel of the culture whilst staying here. The staff are incredibly helpful, particularly Ayoub whose hospitality is second to none, and the way in which he makes himself available to all his guests needs is admirable. I will definitely be staying here when I visit next.

Great Riad
The Riad was very clean and comfortable. The staff (both the male and female desk staff) were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was typical m'smmen / bread / jam / coffee / tea but the setting for it was lovely. The location is between the medina and the local bus station so very convenient if you're coming and going with local buses. We'd definitely stay again.

Authentic
The riad was in a quite alley which felt safe. The room was small but well maintained. Everything was nice and clean. The host did his best to make things efficient. Breakfast was basic but when asked for things it was catered for. Slightly overpriced.

People from the hotel were very helpful. The hotel is a little bit hard to find if the person doesn't know the Medina.

Over all everything is good, except one thing didn’t like about it is they pass to you the credit card fee 3% which is the hotel who should pay it not the client, credit card bank provide service to the hotel therefore the hotel should pay it. Not happy about it

2/10 Poor

Customer service needs major improvements
Riad dar saba has potential to be a comfortable stay, but unfortunately fell short of reaching this, mainly due to the customer service provided. Upon check in we were made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome and as if we were an annoyance, any questions were met with disdain and eye rolls from the receptionist Leila. It is immediately clear she does not enjoy the customer facing side of her role. Regrettably, this was not the end of our strange interactions with Leila. We were awoken during our first night at 12:30am by yelling and laughter that continued for 15 minutes. Thinking it was other guests we went to investigate and ask if they could be quiet as we had an early start the next morning. At this point we were surprised to find Leila herself making the noise along with some others. Leila then pretended as if there had been no racket whatsoever and feigned confusion. Given the walls are paper thin and every noise can be heard in the riad, I am certain we weren't the only guests awoken by the noise she was creating. It was a very bizarre situation. It is also worth mentioning that the WiFi signal on the second floor is so poor it is unusable. It is marginally better on the first floor. On a positive note, Ayoub who works at night is very kind and helpful. He is a complete contrast to Leila and was always polite and eager to help us. The included breakfast Ayoub prepared was also nice. I would not recommend Riad dar saba.
