Best Resort in the Area by far!!!!
My wife and I stayed from 3 Jan thru 9 Jan 2011. The staff was really nice 24/7. The food was great and the rooms are one step away from the beach. The resort was the perfect size to go to a pool or even a bar. This is the best brrezes resort on the island if you want to party or even relax.

Kind of out of the way. Incredibly view though. Amenities are really dated.

The hotel has seen better days and needs remodelling and updating. Lighting in passageway and rooms either non existent or very dim. Restaurant offering very limited as with the bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food albeit limited was very flavourful. The gardens were beautiful and well kept with a variety of plants & flowers. The shower was huge with great water pressure. The location was close to where we needed to be otherwise would probably not have been my choice

The property itself is beautiful the room was very nice and clean. I had an issue with ants in my bed which doesnt speak to the cleanliness of the room the staff us excellent. The hotel is a little remote. They dont gave readily available information in regards to tours and things to do. And it advertises that its on a beach and isnt even within walking distance.

on a hill, but over the hill
Shower tap could not be turned on, no light in corridor from door to bed. Rooms incomplete: no toiletries, one room no desk. Floor in hallway moved as we walked on it. In the bar: Sorry, no cola, no tonic, one orange juice, we have water, beer and liquor. Pool in picture seems to be taken with widescreen camera, but in reality is three small basins. The hotel advertises as luxurious but looks like faded glory. We saw only two other guests and therefore decided to eat somewhere else instead of trying the kitchen.

staff was friendly in helping me to get a taxi for the morning and checkin me in. After arrival to my room I was greeted by broken toilet and shower. Since I was only staying for one night and had an early flight I didn't even bother to try to switch rooms. If your going to charge 200 for a room, everything in the room should be at least checked before.

This hotel has probably been very nice when it was newly built, but I'm sorry to say that it only feels very old now. The view is fantastic, and the staff is nice and friendly, but that is about it. On the Choice Hotels webpage, it says: "Convenient to restaurants and beaches". I don't know where there are any other restaurants than the hotel restaurant? And to be honest, the hotel restaurant is not good at all. The food is very simple and the restaurant is not charming at all. It could be fantastic if it was facing the view of the ocean, but it just feels dark and old. So I'm very sorry to say, that I will not be coming back to this hotel.

No help with luggage yet there is a 364 ft incline and 33 stairs. Dinner only begins at 7 and the food took 1 hr and 14 min to arrive to our table. In order to pay for dinner if you're using a card, you have to go back to the front desk, have them run your card, then take the credit card receipt back. 1 light in the entire room and if you had it on, the balcony light also came on which was a disturbance when others turned their lights on. Locked out on balcony b/c the lock was so gunked so the key wouldn't go in. Thankfully my colleague shared a balcony and could come get me off the balcony. Cockroaches came out of the drain in the busted bathtub. The pool was green like a pond.

Try to Find Another Place
I stayed here because it was convenient to the airport, but I would not stay again. The hotel is laid out on a very steep hillside, and it is a steep climb to the restaurant and pool. The room was very basic, down a lonely hallway and the place needs to be updated. Service at the front desk was good but non-existent everywhere else. You can drive down the hill to a beach, but it is small, dirty and not pleasant. I have no memory of the food.

Staff keeps welcoming you home to Jamaica!
Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. 3 pools with a swim up bar and a great beach. Coral reef to snorkel off the beach. Great for golfers with golf course across the street and a two minute shuttle service with tunnel under the road. Starlight Restaurant under the stars. Great service and a lot of variety on the menu's on all restaurants. Highly recommend this resort.

RELAXING ATMOSHPHERE
My wife and I have been coming to Jamaica for the last fifteen years. We tried a couple resorts elsewhere but none compares to Breezes. Weve been coming here for the last ten years and will make another trip in february. The people here are great the food is great and its just a fantastic place to relax and do nothing.

pretty good...not great
our week long stay was very relaxing. the water was beautiful. the service was great. the food was not great, but pretty good.......breakfast omelettes(made to order), lots of fruit(always). the hibachi grill was entertaining and good, as well. The pavilion overlooking the caribbean was great, and the lobby/gameroom area was fun. Staff Security was very visible and helpful. the golf course and practice facilities are awful. if you play golf regularly in the U.S., you will be very disappointed. I would say the course was the equivalent of a low-budget municipal course in the U.S. The fitness facility was just okay, but the equipment needs updating. Lots of free weights and machines, but the cardio equipment was limited and in bad shape and/or not working. I would stay at Breezes again, but the price would have to be right.

Great Time
Got married in Jamaica not at the hotel but spent our honeymoon there. Our stay was awesome. The food was good the drinks were great the staff was very friendly. The hotel is clean and well kept. My only complaint was the beds were hard. They need to get a pillow top or at least matress cover with pillow top. But other thant that was great. Also loved the 14 and over age requirement hate to travel and have little kids spoil it for everyone. Another good reason to pick Breezes. Loved Jamiaca as the native say no problems in Jamaica mon. Would go back if I can.
