A very pleasant stay!
The hotel is really charming. It's not much to look at from the front, but it backs on to a wonderful neighborhood full of families, playgrounds, parks, and restaurants. I traveled for business, but the location was also convenient for tourism. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful. I recommend it!

Dirty and uncomfortable
The hotel was very outdated, one of the lights didn't work. Beds were very uncomfortable, my back hurts after the first night. One of the blankets was dirty and has marks on it, we requested for a new one, but didn't get one until the next day.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but the shower had black mold, and wasn’t able to use it. We informed the front desk, but unfortunately, it wasn’t taken care of. The food was great and the hotel was very close to the Bahnhof (train station).

Black mold in bathroom
First off: The staff was extremely friendly and nice, which is why this is not a zero. But this hotel is not safe. The shower was heavily impacted with black mold which is extremely toxic especially over longer periods. As this is an “aparthotel” it poses a potential risk to visitors. Unfortunately I was only in for a strictly planned work function, so I did not have time to complain. But that also shouldn’t be necessary. The mold infection was visible to the naked eye, which means it had progressed for a long time. Not fit for humans or animals.

Breakfast: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Room: 8/10 Bathroom: 3/10 Bed: 3/10 The kitchenette was incredibly useful, and reasonably well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. A very nice way to save some money while traveling. The table, desk, couch, and foot stools were quite good too. The shower design required a nearly 1 meter climb up into the tub/shower, then back out (while dripping wet). For people with any form of mobility impairment this is a huge problem. The beds are incredibly stiff and lack much in the way of cushioning, and the pillows are just as unforgiving. Feather bed covers, while common across European, often result in overheating during sleep.
