It’s located in a very local area so we appreciated the calm and quiet at night. We had a room on the 5th floor and it was well maintained even if cleaning could be improved overall (minor things of course, the bed and the room are clean). Staff is pretty nice and the price was absolutely affordable, we’ll definitely be back!

Decent hostel Needs a deep clean but it’s alright overall It’s missing a nice sofa or something cozy to chill out, they only have tables / chairs Bit weird how they have toilets facing the beds in the dorms… Location was alright overall Stayed there for 3 nights on a solo trip

The shower and toilet are in the room. No smell or definitely not dirty feeling. Just considering the ‘silent’ mode in Tokyo, it would be a bit scary to disturb others at the very beginning. However, the noise inside the shower is definitely not penetrating through doors and walls so NO WORRIES. The staffs are very helpful and the location is really close to railway station. If you want to take JR or any railway at Ueno, it’s around 15-20mins walk with many restaurants and convenience stores along the way. Pretty recommended
